Portfolio Project: High-Performance Blogger Site Development

The Challenge

The client, "Legendary Minute," needed a blog site that was not only visually appealing but also incredibly fast and perfectly optimized for search engines. In today's digital landscape, a slow website can lead to poor user experience and lower search rankings. The primary challenge was to build a feature-rich website on the Blogger platform while achieving elite scores across all of Google's PageSpeed Insights metrics: Performance, Accessibility, Best Practices, and SEO.

My Solution

• Custom Theme Development: Instead of using a pre-made, bloated theme, I built a lightweight and efficient theme using modern HTML and CSS, ensuring no unnecessary code was loaded.
• Performance Optimization: I implemented several advanced techniques, including Lazy Loading for images, WebP image serving, optimized script loading (defer/async), and minimized CSS & HTML to reduce file sizes.
• SEO & Accessibility: The theme was built following all of Google's best practices for SEO and accessibility, ensuring it is easily crawlable by search engines and usable by everyone.
